Free bag supply
We provide London retailers with free, premium and eco-friendly paper bags, funded by advertising. Better for customers. Better for the environment. Better for you.
Why choose Bagboard?
Our bags are paid for by advertising revenue. That means we can supply them to you for free. And you can give them to your customers for free too.
Good for the environment
With every Bagboard bag you distribute, you save a single-use plastic bag from landfill. This reduces your store’s impact on the environment
Our bags are much better quality than single-use plastic bags. They’re stronger, hold more weight and last longer. Customers love them.
RFID technology tells us when your bag stock is running low. So new bags are sent out automatically without you lifting a finger.
Part of a community
Through our retailer app, you can share ideas, advice and insights with other retailers in our network.
We’re working on a financial rewards scheme for retailers who wish to distribute more specialist bag campaigns.
Our tech platform uses RFID technology to make sure everything runs smoothly and you’re always supplied with bags. RFID stands for ‘radio frequency identification’. This type of technology is already widely used in retail. Many retailers (such as clothes stores) use it to prevent shoplifting by fixing security tags to their products. It’s also used in libraries where books can be scanned without needing a barcode.
Why we use RFID
We use RFID so we can count how many bags are leaving stores. This helps us know how many bags are being distributed from a store, we also know when stocks are running low. New bags can then be automatically sent out without you having to lift a finger.
Our community of 2,000 stores
We work with lots of different type of independent retailers and are adding new ones all the time. We are really proud of our retailers and each one forms an important part of the Bagboard community. Our network currently includes : Bookshops, cafes & delicatessens, convenience stores, electronics & hardware, gift shops and pharmacies.
